Reunions

Since the Alumni Association does not assume the responsibility for planning upcoming reunions, this task of preparing and planning falls on the class representative(s) or contact(s) for each individual graduating year.  However, since the alumni association database was not formally put to use until approximately 1993-1994, some class contacts are not aware that we have current address/contact information of many alumni that we willingly share with the class representatives.

We have 2 mailings per year which allows us to update our database every six months, rather than every 5 or 6 years as is done by the class representative(s) or professional reunion company.

If you are or will be planning a reunion, simply contact the school (818-787-2371, ext. 269) or the website (www.vnhsalumni.org) and you will be put in touch with the proper person from whom to get this information.

It would be very helpful if, once your reunion is held, the class representative(s) would share their database back with us.  This could easily be accomplished if the planning committee or the professional reunion company would either electronically e-mail the database or send a copy of the memory booklet listing the current addresses to the school.

On that same note, our database corrections and updates are only as good as those alumni who contact us or respond to our mailings to give us their changes.  You may not be in a position or have the desire to join the association upon receipt of the application each year, however your information is just as important to us so that you will be notified of any reunions or events being planned for your graduation year.

Note:  We would like to assure you that the database we maintain is not shared, sold or posted with any other entity other than the Van Nuys High School Alumni Association.  It is used solely for the purpose of membership information, reunion information and periodic newsletters.

If you are currently listed as your Class Contact and no longer wish to do so, please contact us so that we may update our information and try to locate an alternative for your class.

Class Webpage

Currently, through the Alumni Association, we have the ability to establish a webpage for each graduating year of Van Nuys High School at no charge.  We are looking for a volunteer from each class to create this page and assume this responsibility.  The volunteer will receive a webmaster access number and have the freedom to originate, post, design, etc.
